How long does it take to complete the course?

Each course (lecture) is provided as video followed by Power Point Presentation and a post-test. Expected time to complete is 1 to 1 1/2 hours.


Do participants need to register for the online courses?

Yes, in order to view the online courses you need to fill out a profile on the website.


How can I get CME credit ?

CME credit is obtained online at the individual Conference website. Please note that participants can only receive credit for viewing a session once (for example, if a participant received credit for viewing the live conference, s/he will not be awarded credit for also reviewing the archived version of the same session). After viewing Live or Archived events a self-assessment test needs to be taken with at least a score of 80% in order to download the CME certificate. Upon completion of the test go to CME>Obtain CME credit on the navigation panel.


Is CME offered for all healthcare professionals ? Accreditation.

Medical Educational Council of Pensacola (MECOP) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

The Medical Educational Council of Pensacola designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This continuing medical educational activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of MECOP (medical Educational Council of Pensacola and Sacred Heart Hospital to provide continuing medical education for physician and non-physician providers.Each participant will receive an appropriate certificate of attendance upon completion. Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants: The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accept AMA/PRA category 1 CME credits from organizations accredited by the ACCME. MECOP is accredited to provide continuing medical education for physicians and will provide physician assistants and nurse practitioners who successfully complete each activity with a certificate of participation indicating that the activity was designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.

Can I check to see which programs I have completed for CME credit?

Yes. Go to CME>Check CME record.


Can I print my CME certificate of credit online?

Yes. You can print your certificate of credit online after viewing the program whether live or archived, upon completion of the self-assessment for each program. This certificate printing feature is available under the Check CME Record section of the  website.


Is there any charge to view the video and obtain CME credits ?

No registration fee is required.

CME credits are only offered for trauma related lectures  and  valid for two years from the date of the lecture.
